Story behind the name
in the Bible, “tekton” is a Greek word most often translated as “carpenter”. However, it’s a broader term referring to an artisan, builder, or craftsman, not necessarily just someone who works with wood. The term is used to describe Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus.
